Most Spanish Universities organise courses throughout the year. They normally start at the beginning of each term but some last a full academic year. The courses are open to young people over the age of 18 and academic qualifications are not normally required. Full information on the courses should be requested from the University in writing, enclosing an international reply coupon. Letters should be addresses to the "Secretar�a de los cursos para extranjeros" at the addresses shown below. Many of these also arrange accommodation. Information on Spanish Universities, both state and private, can be accessed through the Spanish Ministry for Education at www.mec.es.
