VISITING TIMES
The Alhambra Palace is opened throughout the year except 1st January and 25th December. Visiting times are 8.30 to 20.00h (1st March to 31st Oct. Last admissions are at 19.00) and 8.30 to 18.00h (1st November to end of February. Last admissions are at 17.00). Night visits in the winter season are on Fridays and Saturdays from 20.00 to 21.30h (ticket sales from 19.30 to 20.30h). In the summer on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 22.00 to 23.30 (ticket sales from 20.45 to 22.30). However, given the large numbers of visitors, visiting times are assigned in a system of slots. This makes it highly advisable to book in advance, especially at popular times.

ADVANCE BOOKINGS
The advance booking system for tickets for the Alhambra Palace is operated by the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya, (BBV) although branches of this bank in the UK do not partake in the new scheme, and by Caja General de Ahorros de Granada, through the Bono tur�stico.
Personal bookings need to be made through the BBVA advance bookings telephone service in Spain, number 0034 902 224460 www.alhambratickets.com (Spanish only).For confirmation of a booking it is necessary to supply the date and time of the visit as well as a valid Visa or Master Card number. Given the popularity of the Alhambra, alternative dates and times might have to be considered. Up to 5 tickets can be allocated per person per session. Tickets will be ready for collection on arrival in Spain from the ticket office of the Alhambra palace, they should be collected at least one hour prior to the allocated time.

Bono tur�stico de Granada. Include access to the Alhambra Palace and the Generalife Gardens, as well as 6 other major monuments in the city and the Science Park. It also includes 10 bus rides on the local public service. The card can be purchased in advance from Caja Granada for 20 � (Tel. 0034 902 100095, www.granadatur.com) or on the day at La Caja General de Ahorros de Granada, (Plaza Isabel La Cat�lica) and at the Capilla Real ticket offices. The card has a validity period of seven days. Allocation of date and time of the visit to the restricted buildings will be made taking into account personal preference whenever possible.
School groups visiting the Alhambra within the free entry periods (anytime except the months of March, April, July, August & September) need to apply to the Alhambra offices ( Tel. 0034 958 220912, Fax 0034 958 210584). Visits at all other times must also be booked through them.
30% of the daily allocation of tickets is sold on site. If this is the chosen system it is highly advisable to be there as early as possible in the morning in order to avoid disappointment, especially in high season.
